when the leaves turn burnt orange the track to the beach is stunning! Or put on your winter woollies and enjoy a stroll along Fraisethorpe beach and a visit to The Cow Shed Café for a delicious warming latte.

There is still plenty to do in November, with fire works displays to music at Sledmere House or the Drive in Fireworks spectacular at Driffield Showground 

If the weather isn’t so kind there are some equally enjoyable rainy day activities near by, the Deep in Hull is one of the most spectacular aquariums in the world and is home to sharks, turtles, penguins and UK’s only Green sawfish! There is a wide programme of events on offer at the Bridlington Spa throughout the year including shows , concerts, films and exhibitions.  The cafe offers sea views of the south bay and harbour and serves the most delicious scones which are so enormous they are a meal in themselves!  The Spa Bridlington

The grand Historic Houses in our region are worth a visit at any time of year but Burton Agnes Hall opens its doors especially to showcase its beautifully styled Christmas decoration from 14th November – 23rd December daily between 11am – 5pm. The Winter Wonderland event at Sewerby Hall and Gardens offers visitors the chance to walk through an enchanting sound and light display during December

The Garden Cottage

The Hayloft

Facing west, this delightful cottage catches the afternoon sun and overlooks gently rolling farmland.  The living accommodation is on the ground floor and the two en-suite bedrooms on the floor above. The Hayloft is a superb holiday home, lovingly restored.

The Roost

The Roost, rated Mobility 2 by Visit Britain , is a perfect choice for those with slight mobility problems, as it offers all ground-floor accommodation and parking at your door. You’ll really enjoy the warmth and ambience of this delightful self-catering holiday cottage, which is popular throughout the year with couples and families alike.

You’ll find log burners in The Turnip House, The Old Dairy, Ostler’s Corner, The Spinney, The Owl House and The Granary.
