Since opening our side of the holiday business in York in 2011, we’ve been finalists five times in the prestigious Visit York Tourism Awards. This year, now with three apartments to showcase, and facing the usual fierce competition, we were completely surprised and totally delighted to receive the winner’s trophy for Best Self-Catering Visit York 2019. The evening event is always special; held in the Railway Museum, all the guests are free to wander around, admiring the giant locomotives in the engine shed before sitting down to a sumptuous dinner. Late in the evening, our party journeyed home to the coast, tired but proud and very happy.
